Caterpillar Venture Capital has taken a stake in ElevenEs, and together they are starting construction of a mega factory for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries in Subotica on a site of around 25,000 square metres. The first phase is planned to have an annual capacity of roughly 1 GWh and will initially create about 350 jobs as part of ElevenEs’s broader strategy to expand production and strengthen its position in the European market.
Oktopaz is performing the technical control of the project documentation and has engaged a multidisciplinary team of experienced, licensed engineers for the task. The team covers all required disciplines — architecture, structural engineering, building services, technology and production processes — ensuring designs comply with regulations, are safe and practically feasible. Through close collaboration with designers and the client ElevenEs, Oktopaz ensures documentation meets technical requirements and quality standards.
