The factory under construction for the Japanese company Nidec in Novi Sad, where Oktopaz leads construction supervision and provides health & safety coordination at work, will produce electric motors for power steering and drive motors for hybrid vehicles in the first phase. When production reaches full capacity, this factory will provide between 1,000 and 2,000 new jobs and contribute to the development of the automotive industry in Serbia.
With an area of about 27,500 square meters, this production complex consists of an administrative building, a production facility, and auxiliary facilities (a pumping station, porter’s lodge, canopy for municipal waste, etc.).
The engineering and professional disciplines rendered by Oktopaz within this industrial project are architecture, construction materials and structures, water & sewage, fire safety, medium and low voltage electrical systems, mechanical building services, lifts, internal roads, and health & safety at work.
