Decathlon New Belgrade

French Decathlon is the largest sports equipment retail chain in the world. It opened its second store in Serbia in New Belgrade.

On that occasion, Decathlon hired Oktopaz for the listed, successfully finished services: construction supervision, safety plan, and health & safety coordination. These services included the reconstruction and adaptation of the interior of part of an existing business facility and control of the improvement of fire protection measures.

Construction and fit-out work on the adaptation and reconstruction of the premises included, among other things, the installation of walls and partitions, the installation of suspended ceilings, and the dismantling and installation of interior joinery. In addition, various types of building services and equipment were reconstructed or replaced, including the internal hydrant network, lighting, fire alarm system, HVAC, etc. These works have improved fire safety in the building.

The clear height of the room to the suspended ceiling is from 350 to 620 cm.

Installed are various types of floors. The epoxy floor application in the sales and warehouse space includes machine sanding of existing tiles, priming, pouring the final layer, and machine polishing. Placed in the meeting room is itison while granite ceramics is in the wardrobes and kitchen.

The new doors on the borders of the fire sectors are fireproof for 90 minutes. Other interior doors are aluminium.
