CTP Nidec Novi Sad

The Dutch company CTP, one of the leading business park builders, developed a production facility in Novi Sad for its client. The renowned Japanese corporation Nidec will produce electric motors for the automotive industry in this facility.

Here, Oktopaz led construction supervision, developed a safety plan, and provided health & safety coordination at work. Construction supervision covered the areas of architecture, building structures and materials, energy efficiency, fire safety, water supply and sewerage, electrical, and thermo-technical building services. Oktopaz contributed to meeting the high-quality standards of the client and facility user.

This industrial facility consists of a production part with raw material storage, an administrative part and auxiliary facilities (porter’s lodge and pumping station with overground tanks for sprinkler and hydrant network, etc.).

The administrative part has two floors. The entrance hall leads into the glazed atrium.

The production part consists of the ground floor and gallery. Within the production facility, there is a crane track for a 10-ton crane.

Precast reinforced concrete elements support the building. The facade consists of thermal insulation panels with stone wool filling. A flat roof consists of trapezoidal sheet metal, rock wool thermal insulation, and roofing foil.

Although the building represents an independent unit of impressive size, it is only the first phase of future construction at that location.
